Welcome to Dave Wilson Artist and Photographer

I have spent a lifetime developing my art and photography, from drawing cartoons on my Grandad’s knee at six to the work I create today. My work explores colour, tone, texture, composition and time, often guided by Fibonacci’s Golden Ratio to create balance and proportion. Whether through a painting, photograph or found object, each piece carries a story, a memory or a sense of place. Now retired from education, I have the time to focus on creating work that I hope is both beautiful and meaningful.
